# Quantified claims are present

How the Quantified claims are present check works, what a failure means, and how to fix it in the Citability & Evidence dimension.

- Dimension: Citability & Evidence (11% of the total score)
- This check: 4 points
- Check id: `statistics`

## What does this check look at?

Body text contains at least 5 numeric claims: percentages, currency amounts, multipliers of the form 3.2x, thousands-separated figures, or raw numbers of five digits or more. A bare four-digit number is not counted, because it is a year far more often than it is a finding.

## How do I fix it?

- **partial** — Add specific figures. Published GEO research reports the largest visibility gains from statistics and citations.
- Add concrete numbers to your claims; unsupported assertions are rarely quoted.

## Why is it worth 4 points?

High and research-driven: this is the dimension most directly tied to measured visibility gains.

## What else is measured in this dimension?
