# Headings are phrased as real questions

How the Headings are phrased as real questions check works, what a failure means, and how to fix it in the Answer Readiness dimension.

- Dimension: Answer Readiness (10% of the total score)
- This check: 4 points
- Check id: `qa-headings`

## What does this check look at?

At least 3 H2 or H3 headings either end with a question mark or begin with how, what, why, which, when, who, where, is, are, do, does, can, should or will.

## How do I fix it?

- **partial** — Rewrite headings as the question a customer would ask, keeping the keyword inside the sentence.
- Engines retrieve spans that match a question. Label-style headings give them nothing to match.

## Why is it worth 4 points?

Substantial, and largely mechanical to fix.

## What else is measured in this dimension?
